After graduating magna cum laude from the University of New Hampshire, Nicole Frechette (Morrissey) obtained her M.Ed from Arizona State University. She started her career in education through Teach for America as a middle school science teacher. She has since worked as the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction for a successful network of turnaround schools, UP Academy. She was trained in school leadership through the Emerging Leaders program at Building Excellent Schools. She has held a variety of leadership positions in urban public schools including that of Department Chair, Team Leader, Classroom Management Advisor, and Assistant Principal. Ms. Frechette’s experience in urban education and her work with improving academic results will strategically support the work of the Board of Directors.
