Wendy Ruiz started her career in development at the YMCA of Greater Houston. There she benefited from strong mentors in the field and completed her degrees in Human Services and Non-Profit Managing through Springfield College. She earned the “Project Award” from Springfield College for excellence in addressing community issues and achieving social impact. She then moved on to the Children’s Museum of Houston and eventually became the Chief Development Officer for the Collaborative for Children. After over a decade in the development and non-profit management fields, Wendy started her own consulting business to directly support nonprofits. She is a resident of southwest Houston and brings a wealth of fundraising skills and experiences to the Board of Directors.
